Stereo question

Hey,

New to here so sorry if i ask a question someone else has a million times...

Basically have a Mini Cooper S on an 02 plate, but has a very annoying cassette in there and want to replace it with the genuine cd player. Just wondering whether anyone knows if mine will have flat or round pin connectors without me having to pull it out?? And also what will the cd player connectors be?? As i understand, if there different will need an adaptor... which apparently are a pain to get too?????????????????

You need to know if your Mini cassette is wave or boost, most are wave - see our faq - NewMINIStuff.com FAQ
To get the stereo out see here NewMINIStuff.com DIY Guides
You will need some torx tools - NewMINIStuff.com
Then if the cassette is wave you will need a wave to boost harness adaptor & maybe the aerial adaptor (some 2002 do) Order both to be safe, if you find you don't need the aerial adaptor you can return it for a refund
