Show time on radio?

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the RDS Radio/CD to display the time rather than CD track or radio station? It's whatever is a standard fit in a 54 reg MCS.

It seems a bit daft if you can't, seeing that the clock is shared with the trip meter, and the time's available via RDS.

don't think you can, I agree that the clock is pretty poor, it was better on 2001-4 models when it was near the rear view mirror

It's likely there will be a way in some iteration of the hardware, but it's frustrating they didn't include this simple feature in the menu. If there was any way to retro fit the clock of an early model I'd certainly give it a whirl.
