Mini's And Snow Boards

Hi all,

I'm just about to buy my first snow board and was wondering if it will actually fit inside my mini? I'm not too keen on the whole roof rack idea due to extra cost, looks and added aero drag. I'm not going to be having anyone in the back so the two seats will be going down.

I'm going to make a cardboard mock up of my board when i get home tonight and have a play about.

Was just wondering if anyone else has any experience of this?

Thanks

Mark

can't see why it wouldn't with the seats down... there's quite a lot of space in there!

I fit 2 in my mini fine, leave the back seats up and feed them in to the rear foot wells resting against the top of the back. It is a bit of a knack due to the foot straps on the snow board. But this leaves the boot free.

A snowboard definately fits inside.
I put my whole snowboard bag in, but you need to push the seatback of the passenger seat forward so it goes over that. You're passenger will have to sit behind you though.

MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime

Thanks for all the replys guys!

Tucker when you say "resting against the top of the back." Is that the top of the rear seats i.e. Head rest parcel shelf area?
