Got back to my car, windows down & unlocked ? ?

Hi all,

I just got back to my car (parked in a car park in town) and the car was unlocked and both the drivers & passenger windows fully down. Nothing was nicked from the car (had sat-nav, sunnies, cash etc in the glove box which was also unlocked but that wasnt locked be myself)

Is there a button on the remote key to put the windows down or something? I MIGHT have not locked it in the first place (very unlikely) but I wouldnt have put the windows down, not in this weather!

Any ideas?

Thanks

When the battery starts to go flat it does what you described. I would recommend that you have it checked.

also in the car, your unlock switch, that might be faulty -

If you keep that pressed down to unlock windows, also go down

If you keep what in car button pressed down will take the windows down?

I tried holding down the door lock button and the windows didnt move.

Whereas the unlock button on the key will wind down the windows.

It is a feature that has to be turned on at the dealer. There is a list of features that you can adjust via the dealer in your handbook.
