In Car Fire Extinguisher - anyone got one?

Hi all.

I was thinking it would be a good idea for safety and might look good to have a fire extinguisher just infront of the passenger front seat (where the seat adjuster handles is)

Does anyone know if a mini tuner sells a kit or has anyone got this mod done?

I have done a search and there isn't much on this subject tbh.

Cheers

Dont really want it there as its a very useful space.

But the passenger seat is wasted space and a perfect location for it.

Thanks anyways.

I have one from halfrauds, never go to the track or strip without it... not mounted yet but will go on floor front of passenger or on passenger kick panel or underside of the parcel shelf in front of passenger

make sure you get a big one ! A customers car caught fire outside the pharmacy lasy weds, and it took a whole 2kg dry powder CO2 and a whole 3 litre foam to put it out. Lord knows what it will cost me to refil them, but better than having an exlpoding car put out the front of the shop

i have a plumbed in one to fit on my 206. and a handheld in the boot on the mini.

to be honest, i keep it mre for personal safety. If the car goes up in flames i will only be worried about the people in it. So the small extinguisher should give an extra few minutes if you need to get out of a burning car etc.

Also makesure whatever you do you bolt the thing down. Too many people are killed by debris inside the car

Yes, but Mini buys it somewhere else and prints the MINI logo on it
