 MINI Rev Counter Hi I was wondering if anyone can help with a question about my rev counter. I have a Mini Cooper (02 plate) My rev counter lights up but there is nothing on the digital box. In the manual it says the mini cooper shows the temp, mpg, and miles until fuel empty. Also nothing lights up on the small circles. Have i got a fault or does this type of mini not have the functions to do this. Many thanks  |

| The functions described come with OBC (On board Computer) option. Sounds like your car does not have it. Do you have a button on the top of your left stalk with a little PC sysmbol on it? If yes you have afault, if no then your car does not have OBC function. OBC can be retrofitted though. Hope this helps. |

| I have a 2004 Diesel One and I have a stalk with a PC symbol and it switches between speed in mph and temp in celcius - thanks all! I was under the impression that it would show MPG etc etc but it doesnt!! |

| North American spec car shows how many L/100km on it. This is a MY2002. I've been thinking of making a few computer mods to the rev counter so it can display other computer related values such as exact coolant temp or whatever else I want. I might do it if there is enough demand. |

| Hi, i thought this was the relevant thread to write in. i have a 52reg mini cooper and was dissapointed that the rev counter only shows the temperature. i have seen mini coopers which give the option to show mpg and mph. is there any way in which i can change my rev counter for a newer version??? Any advice welcome, cheers. |

| I am in the same boat with a '02 'S' with just temp showing. If you go to the 'FAQ and DIY' and click interior, and it shows you how to retro fit it ;-)  It's a MINI Clubman adventure!  |
