Current MINIs NAV display viz MP3/iPod

Wondering whether the NAV display in current MINIs displays mp3 song information in the same manner as the NAV display does with older MINIs fitted with the Intravee?

Considering installing the Intravee on my 2003 Cooper S which has factory NAV. Also considering trading in the car on a new MINI in a year or two. Just wondering whether I'll want to re-install the Intravee on the new car, or whether current functionality on new cars is comparable.

Anyone have a NAV and mp3 adapter who could tell me?

Nope, it is a different system on the 2nd gen and the Intravee will not work.

I'm sorry, I didn't make myself clear. Could you tell me whether the current MINIs offer similar functionality to the Intravee solution for older MINIs? In other words, if I bought a new MINI with NAV along with whatever mp3 solution MINI offers, can I expect to see album, artist and track information on the NAV display as I would with the Intravee?
