Head unit down tubes on a 2003 coopers

Hi we come to take head unit out but on the drivers side down tube we can't get to the screw at the top of tube it's coverd buy the panel that covers the steering colum how to I get that panel of

Yea but it says nothing bout the screw on driver side (top one) been coved

grab the tray putting your fingers between the steering wheel and cover under the steering wheel and yank it towards you and downwards

(you wont break it)
