Interior Panel Clips

Pulled away the rear left panel today to fix some rattles, as usual the yellow clips which hold the plastic panel against the body stayed in the body and were already like that (have never removed this panel before). Pulled these out with a flathead and pliers, slid them back onto the plastic panel, pushed the panel against the body to secure it and oh no what a surprise, the clips didn't line up with the holes in the body and have ALL snapped and the metal clips below the rear window did not clip in. The interior build on these cars is unbelievably bad! I'm so furious and now I'm going to have to take it to the dealer to have them put it right and charge me a fortune ARGH!

Anyone who has changed the rear speakers - do you have any tips for re-fitting the panels

if you have a few that aren't broken you can miss out a few and it wont matter too much, just make sure you get the 2 nearest the front in and one at the back. But as someone said you can get them for pennies, newministuff also sells them and you can buy rubber washers as well which you put on the clips which stops a lot of rattles

Its just a right pain in the ar*e because you can't see where the clips are pointing so can't line them up as your head presses against the rear window and can't see down the gap. I suspect its a lot easier with the whole panel off with the seat cushions out
