3d sat nav

sorry, please don't shout at me, I know this isn't technically a new thread (and this is my first ever forum).
I read in other threads that I can get perspecive on my sat nav (07 cooper S conv)
I have downloaded software as suggested and installed it (actually was the same as I had)
but perspective maps doesn't come up - what am I doing wrong - or am I just confused (as usual)

Did you enable it in the service (hidden) menu? If you haven't, go to the setup screen and press and hold the Menu button for a few seconds. A new menu will appear and if you scroll through it you will see a item called "Perspective" , you need to turn it on. After that, exit out and go to your map. Then change the map orientation to "Perspective".

I don't think that it can do full post codes. To be honest, I haven't really investigated it.

please please can someone help. I have a mini cooper s works with a dvd sat nav. The car is a 2004. I want to update the firmware as it looks old and dated. Can someone please help me find a firmware. i ve tried every link on here to no success. I rang BMW and it was like pulling teeth no one had a clue.Thank Phil

Phil, if you could first post up the firmware information currently on your nav, we can tell you what version you are running. If you go to the setup screen, you will see some numbers posted in the upper right side. Please post these up.

As for firmware, you can get the latest at Simply MINI | Just a cool place to talk MINI. It is located on the lefthand side.
