Stereo wiring

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I will ask anyway. Where do you guys run rca lines from the stereo to the trunk (for amps)? Do you run them underneath the dash and stash them under some trim or something on the side of the car, or can you send them right down the center of the car under the carpet?

Wherever it goes, could you give me a brief explanation as to how to remove that trim or route the wiring underneath? Thanks.

I send mine out the bottom of the centre console, around the footwell and down the edge. It's fairly straight forward. If you don't want to remove the rear side panels, going under the rear seats should be fine
