R56 Sat Nav Gauge in R53?

Any idea if this will fit into an R53? Size wise etc.

Thanks

Do you mean the screen with speedo?

If so no. The only r56 parts I know of that will fit an r50/52/53 (2001-2006 hatch and 2004-2009 convertible) are the wheels and brake callipers (including discs and pads of course ).

Its a totally different car! You'd be about as likely to fit the sat nav out of a 1999 7series as the one from an r56... The parts really aren't interchangeable at all!

Putting a sat nav even from a R53 that doesnt already have it in is not just about fitting the display part, theres all the drive system etc to go with it, you'll be better off with a separate tom tom and mount that instead.
The BMW mechanics told me theres almost virtually nothing that fits from a Gen 1 to a Gen 2, of course if youre a real clever dick and got loads of time and money and the skills you can do just about anything, there will always be someone that will say they have done it somewhere, like the guy whos put a helicopter engine in his MINI some would say thats impossible.
Its not as simple as swopping one from the other and plugging it in.
