Headunit Not Saving Radio Presets

Hi all,

Just realised that my 51plate mini is running a kenwood KDC-W5041U and it doesnt save radio stations its not a massive problem too me as i just use the other fuctions more like cd, usb, and front aux in but would be something to fix in my sapre time

It sounds like the red and yellow wires (permenent and switched live) are the wrong way round at the back of the unit. Most head units have a plug halfway down each of these wires to allow you to switch them round for vehicles (usually French ones and Vauxhalls) that have the constant live wire, which allows your head unti to remember it's presets, in the other position.
