Passenger Seat Will not slide back.

I purchased a 2004 Mini Cooper in August of 2010. The passenger side seat is now stuck in the forward sliding position. The recliner and the up and down on the seat still work but my seat will not slide backwards. I look under the seat the the clip that grabs the track is stuck.

Has anyone else had an issue with seats doing this? If so please advise.

Thanks

CooperMichaels

Its unbelievable how how much people are being charged for this, as the cable isn't listed as a separate part you have to buy complete runners, I fixed mine by getting some bike bowden brake cable from my odds box which is the same stuff and made a new one by soldering the old ends and central ball onto the new cable... cost nill and works fine also i found part 11 from the rear seat as i had an old one lying about www.bmminiparts.com - Diagram View has almost the same end fitting one side just needs a little bending and filing
