Hey MINI - fix this for others

To MINI - I know you are listening here.

Please give the next MINI's you build a way to lower the rear seat backs while inside the car. I am forever getting the seat belt caught behind the seat when I raise it. This means I have to get out of the car and open the boot to release the seat. What a pain in the ....

Please forgive the rant if there is another access lever somewhere and I am just an idiot for not finding it.

My guess why this isn't possible is as security for your boot. If you need to open the hatch to undo the seats, then its essentially the same as a trunk. My technique for avoiding the problem is paying attention to the seatbelts when I pull the seatbacks back. This works, though maybe you're trying to reach behind you and push them back... I've never tried or had a reason to do that.

Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball.
