United-Kingdom Sat Nav not working, Blank screen

Right, i have joined this to hopefully get some help cause i have done all i can do and am now at scratching head stage.

Basically my sat nav isnt working full stop, back ground glow on monitor comes on when opening door but thats all, no Mini logo, nothing nada zip!

The DVD Nav player unit is under the seat and all that happens with that is the eject button lights up but the little power L.E.D doesnt.

It has a DVD in it, which i cant eject for some reason, i have checked all lives and earths to the unit under the seat and at the monitor which are all fine.

I`m getting the feeling that its either the monitor or the DVD unit that is at fault and this is where i need help.

Basically i need to know if anyone has had the DVD unit under the seat disconnected and looked to see if the monitor still comes up with the Mini logo or anything at all, this will then let me know which part actually controls what.

Any help will be greatfull, cheers.

Hi, I also have a problem with my screen not coming on. I don't get a glow or anything.

My cd drive under the driver seat powers up and ejects and takes the cd backing fine.
Just nothing from the screen.

Where is the screen commented to power/where is the fuse location?? I have been looking at the fuse boxes today and can't fine a pic that relates to a screen?? Lol

Been looking in the manual but haven't had any help from that.

Any help guys please!

Thanks in advance

Tyrone.

United-Kingdom mini sat nav

Hi

My screen played up later part of last year no mini logo and remaining blank for long periods, so try this,

disconect the battery, touch & hold the two wire terminals together for about 20 seconds, reconnect them to the battery , this resets the system.

it seemed to work for me, the mini logo came back on and its been fine so far..
