| r53 and r56 airbag compatability. hey guys, i have a 2002 mini cooper S with the old style 2 spoke MF steering wheel, however it looks dated and old. i found a guide which details how to change to a new style 3 spoke steering wheel however ive had to purchase the steering wheel and airbag seperately. the steering wheel is stated as r53 3-spoke steering wheel, but the airbag is from an r56 3 spoke model. is there any difference between the two or would the r56 3-spoke airbag fit on the 3-spoke r53 steering wheel? | yeah i had a look on there myself, just wondered if anyone had actually tried to put one on it, looking at it, the clips are the same? just a pricey mistake (£150) if it doesnt fit :/ |
