Question New Head Unit?

I'm looking to maybe buying a new head unit for my 2004 "54" Cooper S so I can run my iPhone through it.

Can anyone tell me of a decent but cheapish head unit (i dont need anything special) to go for and if I'd need any different connectors etc?

Thanks.

Good question - I'd like the same advice - only thing to add is that I'd like it to look fairly stock, not too aftermarket.

Hi guys

I don't know if this is any help, but they do make a retrofit kit to connect your iPod/iPhone,
They do two types one you plug your iPhone in using a male male 3.5mm jack plug,
Or one that connects using the main port on the bottom of you iPhone, this allows you to use you MF stealing wheel functions. That's what I use the only thing is I had to disconnect my cd changer as part of the fit. Which does not bother me as the roads around where I live have speed bumps or pot holes and cd was jumping used to drive me made.
Just another idea what about a parrot car kit that allows you to use your iPhone, and allows you to play your music to you car stereo, and also let's you use you MF steering wheel functions as well
