Rear view mirror mark

2 days ago I noticed that my cooper rear view mirror has a mark like liquid. It cannot be clean and it's not water mark as well.

Attached is the photo.

Could anyone tell me what's the problem and how to fix it? :-)

Hi

If it is an auto dimable one I think the crystal display might have gone :-(
Only way if this is the case is change it.
eBay might be the best bet

Thanks for your advise.

I sent my Cooper to Auto Bavaria and they told me crystal display problem, so need to change a new one. It cost me USD330 (In Malaysia). No choice, I have changed. T.T

look for one on ebay most people will send to you overseas There is one on sale here in the UK for under 40 USD ebay Item number 280825193843 If you find one in the UK that will not send to you let me know maybe I can get it to you.
