bmp gauges: warranty

Does anyone have any clue as to what the installation of the BMP gauges (http://www.bmpdesign.com/promini/contents.shtml) would do to the standard Mini warranty?

I presume they could start getting difficult about fixing things if there was a problem later on?

Geoff.

Warranty

Well it's all gonna depend on the type of claim required, ie, if your boot handle falls off while driving along the road does the fact you fitted a boost gauge invalidate your warranty?? obviously not.
Now then, if your dash catches fire..........see where i'm coming from????
I cannot see how any reputable garage could not honour warranty claims on each claims merit.
If you are unsure, do what i did, get the garage to buy into your thinking and upgrade.

My garage were superb, although i have not got anything in writing i feel pretty comfortable about my warranty and most importantly my TLC.

Go for it, i'm looking into the BMP gauges at the moment awaitng a response.

Hope that helps

I just installed these guages over the weekend. You dont have to cut any wires so i cant see it voiding any warranty.the only part that wont be covered is your oil filter housing because you have to tap into that for the sender.

borla and bmp

Hey Suprchrgd,
How do you like the combo of the Borla exhaust and the BMP intake? This is exactly the combo I am looking at.

the bmp intake is awsome, the borla exhaust really didnt give much. I think the key is to get a high flow cat and a header.the sound of the borla is nice.
