| Most common rear leak point is the sealing gasket around the high level rear brake light unit. Also check that the small drain hole in the base of the tailgate is clear, around the boot handle seal, rear wiper spindle seal and rear light unit rubber seals. If all else fails fold down the rear seat backs, sit in the back with tailgate shut tight and watch carefully from inside for leaks while someone else aims water from a hose at the tailgate area! |

| I have kind of similar issues with my 04 MCS, sometimes when I open the boot water comes pouring out from the inside of the boot hatch. Somewhere it is leaking and getting inside rear hatch and I have not figured it out yet. 2004 MCS JCW, 15% pulley, Dinan CAI, MSD ignition & wires, Mynes V2 header, TSW rear control arms, H-sport front and rear sway bars, H-sport lowering springs, Powerflex bushings all around, modified Forge intercooler, M7 STB , ATI Damper |
