Head Unit with both MFSW and CD Changer compatibilty?

Hi guys and gals,

Apologies in advance if this has been covered, but I'm hoping someone can give a straight forward answer .

I have a 2003 Mini Cooper S that currently has a tape deck head unit fitted but the 6-CD changer in the boot. I also have the multi-function steering wheel.

Ideally what I want is a head unit that maintains functionality of the MFSW, allows me to hook up my iPhone/iPod (via cable or bluetooth) and hopefully also maintain the CD changer functionality.

I'm thinking I might be out of luck with all of my wishes, but a little advice would be massively appreciated either way.

I have the exact same setup as the OP, '03 Cooper S with Tape Deck Head unit, CD Changer in the boot and control buttons on the back of the MFSW.

I too would like to ditch the head unit and replace it with something better while keeping the functionality of the CD Changer and the MFSW.
