Harman Kardon Speaker Problems

I'm having an issue with the drivers door speaker.
The sound was intermittent to start with but now it rarely works.

Anyone had this issue?
Is it simple to fix?

It's ether the speaker , "cheap fix" or the Amp "very expensive over £700", the way to find out is swap the speakers left to right if the problem is then on the passenger side then its the speaker.

Sounds silly but this same advice saved my mate loads of cash! he was told it was the amp but when advised somewhere else to swap the speaker thats what it was! Cheap and an easy fix!

Hi Did you get this sorted out? I have these speakers and where one was a problem on the passenger door, since Mini have had the car and swapped, changed, put a new amp in, the speakers have now gotten worse and it now sounds bad from all of them.
Is this normal? Mini have said that there is nothing they can do as its normal noise from the speakers since they tested it. However, in the beginning, it was coming out of one speaker now its all of them!!!!!!!!
