Changing LED on speedo and rev counter?

Hi,

I know this is possible but does anyone know somewhere that can do this? Preferably in Scotland! Well Glasgow to be exact! Lol but don't mind a drive.

Basically want to go from the orange to a blue colour....

Thanks.

Hi,

The Gen 2 price is different, have a look at their site, all the prices are on there and it also depends what you want done, the mods they do are simply stunning looking , i can't wait until tuesday!!

Scotland This is Stunning!

This is stunning! I too love in Glasgow and have wanted to do this since i got my first mini, Shame you guys dont do kits. Not got the money at the minute to do this, but aiming for it around December. Also fancied putting in external white door handle led's (dam i cant post urls yet! still a newb), theres lots on youtube, wonderd if essentialMini would be able to fit them at the same time. Again i live in Glasgow which is a pain. Any idea on the total cost including travel and parts etc, would give me something to aim for. I have Blue and black interior, midnight black 2nd gen cooper with matt black viper stripes. The leds would set it off a treat

Hi,

Hope you don't mind but i would rather not display a price on what essential mini charged me as what he does is unique and differs from car to car so its always best just to contact him and he will give you a quote, he is a great guy to deal with! really friendly!

I can say that if you have a second gen then it is more expensive due to more leds and labour time.

He can either travel to you or you can travel to him.

You may have to wait as he is a busy guy just now but its so worth it!!!

Best mod i have done on my mini , big thanks to mab01uk as if not for him i would never have found EssentialMINI.co.uk | "Perfection is our obsession"

Cheers Harvey will do. Im pretty good with micro electronics, so im going to go by the scrap yard some time in the net week and see if i can pick up an old 2nd gen head unit. I know they are mcoded to each individual car but it ill give me something to practice and play with. Ill probibly give up but hey at least ill have tried it. Cheers

Sorry for posting in an old thread but at the moment the site has problems starting new ones anyway its about my interior lights so on the same topic .

Well after all the work thats been done to her i thought i would take her a good drive , found a nice spot and could not resist a quick photo! Happy with her just now but no doubt i will think of something else soon , don't you just love the mini

My latest thing was installing some blue led strip lighting to the footwells and centre console , this comes on and off with the normal interior lightning.
