Hi,

Does anyone know if these would fit on a 54plate cooper?

(Sorry it will not let me submitt URLs untill I have posted 15 times)

Hi,

I really wouldn't bother with these! I tried a set of these and moments later they were in the bin! Basically my downtubes were scratched and marked and i wanted to either cover or replace. The ones you mention look awful when fitted and also don't fit good as its a tight enough fit already without adding a leather cover.

I finally just wrapped my ones with a carbon wrap and am more than happy.

Thanks, it is always worth asking, does anyone know where I can get a set of original ones from as mine are all scratched. Is it worth getting them from BMW.

Also off topic slightly did Mini produce a centre armrest for my year cooper, or do you know if I can fir the newer style?

Hi,

You can certainly get downtubes from mini but they are not cheap! You can check flee-bay but obviously most will be in used condition.

There is if i am correct a retrofit kit for the arm rest , infact i just found this.....
