head unit screws loose

my head unit has 4 screws one in each corner, 3 of them go in tight and have a white coloured bit they screw into.

1 of them just goes straight through does not grip or screw in jus goes all the way in.

Any ideas of what the missing bit is, how to get it or refit it

picture shows what I mean it is not my own car here it shows a little white bit inside each hole. mines is the same but one is not there?

I've tried longer screws and thicker ones makes no differnce, can get my hand behind but cant feel anything that has droped off or come away.

Is there no way you can take the unit out and take one of the clips to get another one?
They should be like lil metal things that slide on the frame of some kind?
Take the unit out and see what's missing. It could of fallen down

I would of 4t to change a clip you would have to pull out the radio. Check about if you pull out the radio you don't need to get a code for it again.
I'm not sure about that.
Good luck

the clips look like there behind the dash the screws go through the headunit into a hole in the dash and the clip hold the screws tight. I've had the head unit out today to hardwire sat nav, no code needed.

Hope I dont have to remove the whole dash to put a new clip in
