Hiya guys n girls

Ok after initially being messed about I am going to see another Cooper S this afternoon or tomorrow

This one is a 2002 Cooper S with 61k on the clock, 3 previous owners and a full BMW history

Its got the Factory fitted sat nav, so is the software upgradable? Some up to date maps would be good

Also, it HAS NOT got the premium sound system, so is the head unit an easier update?

I didn't know whether the sat nav goes through the sound system and whether its all integrated?

answers would be very welcome thank you

In the first gen mini's which you are getting it is a piece of cake to switch the head unit, which for the average person will give a completely different sound to it the speakers are okay in the first gen minis not sure with regards to satnav, I am told in the second gens they automatically update, however I am not too sure if they do
