| Problems installing heated seats retro fit wiring loom - Please help !!! Hi guys
I brought some heated seats off eBay and I'm trying to retro fit the wiring loom for the heated seats that I brought from bmw.
I followed the PDF instructions for the wiring loom that I found on this site. The instructions were really simple and I did everything fine exempt.....
In the side skirt there's a joint connector called x1019. I have to connect two wires (a1 &a2) from the wiring loom to this joint connector. The instructions say if the joint connector is full then use the 5 way joint connector supplied with the wiring loom. Unfortunately my x1019 joint connector is full (already has 5 wires connected to it) and there's no spare pins for either, the joint connector supplied with the wiring loom, or the wires that need to be connected from the loom.
Any ideas how I can connect wires a1 &a2 when there are no free pins in connector x1019????
The joint connector I got with the wiring loom has 5 pins with a wire hanging out. Shall disconnect 1 of the pins from the existing joint connector and connect the new joint connector in the free pin? Then a1&a2 can connect in the the new connector, will this work? Or do I just need like an 8 way connector so there's enough pins for the existing wiring and new wiring?
Im really stuck so I would appreciate any help.
Cheers
