Imperial to Metric computer dash

Hi all,

I am importing my mini one seven to Aus, and need to change the speedo to read in KM/H rather than M/H.

Is there a way to set the computer readout to read in KM instead of Miles? I only need the speedo, not the mileage readings changing.

If not, do you know if the km/h readings on the centre dial are ok for Aussie roads? Or do I need to do something else?

Thanks in advance!

I have a 2010 Dooper and I can change the readings in the settings menu - I have the big LCD screen in the centre dial. I always change it to KPH when I go to France so I done have to do the mental conversion when I am driving. It changes the distance to KM as well.

Thanks - do you know if this can be done in a 2006 Mini One? I tried looking for a menu, but all I seem to have is the button on the left hand indicator stick... No 'menu' or anything.

I have the centre dial, with a small LCD display showing time and odometer, then the rev counter in front of the steering wheel which has the mph in a small LCD too.

Thanks

Sorry - dont know about that one - I would assume that there should be a settings menu in there somewhere. Do you have a menu where you can change the date and time, if the doors lock automatically, triple turn signal etc. That is where mine are.

I spoke with a guy at Mini Spares UK in Bury this arvo who told me that in the model I have you turn the key to position 2, whilst holding in the stick on the speedo and that is the menu.

I will try this tomorrow and report back!
