Paint code for dark grey dash.

Hi,
So the new to me 2008 cooper s sidewalk has now got a big scratch on the passenger side dash. I phoned a dealer to see if a paint repair kit was available and they said no... is this true?
does anyone know the paint code/colour of these dark grey dash parts or some where I could buy some?

I doubt there are paint repair kits for any dash colors other than "body color".

RealOEM refers to the Sidewalk dash color as "gun metal grey". If you can't get a paint shop to match it, there's always the option of buying a replacement part ...

Yeah I think my option are that. May take the part off from under the centre clock and take for paint match or keep looking for a replacement. I know that if I leave it a few weeks it will be there for ever.

All Sorted now, went to a Car paint distribution center and the guy mixed me up a water based paint and clear top coat 20ml bottles, the pair cost £20 and they gave 2 small fine paint brushes for free. They only normally deal with trade and these were kind of tester paints. Had this cool little hand held scanner and it matched the paint spot on.

Have a 2006 Astro black metallic Mini Cooper and I had the roof painted the same color as the dash I have the paint code it is BMW paint a36 Titanium grey
