fitting boost system in wave system mini

Hi have a 2003 mini cooper s with the radio cassette with auto changer ,got a cd player head unit from a 2003 mini cooper s

my plug is round pin and the new head unit is flat pin , i have made a conversion lead up and the stereo is displaying -disable- can not get it to do anything .


anyone got any ideas i have been told it sounds like bus not talking but i have connected pin 7 (ibus) on round pin plug to pin 9 on flat pin (can+bus)


any one got any ideas

get a proper round to flat lead harness. or get a aftermarket headunit
