Question Dension Gateway Lite BT

Hi,

I hope someone can help me or at least give me some advise - maybe I'm just thinking too hard on this subject.

I've got a 2005 R53 MCS with no navi. I would very much like to have a Bluetooth solution as the bare minimum and at best Bluetooth, Ipod, AUX, USB, A2DP all integrated into my Boost CD player (with H/K)

I do not want any additional separate screens, just a nice simple OEM feeling solution, which will utilise the buttons on my steering wheel for audio and that telephone button.

I have been looking at the Dension Gateway Lite BT which seems to fit the bill somewhat - OK limited display when using ipod, but I think I could just about live with that.

Has anyone installed this unit or have any experience with it?

Does anyone have any other ideas how I can achieve my connectivity goal?

Any info greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm also thinking about getting a dension kit for my 2007 MCS Convertible R52. I am a bit confused as to whether it is connected to the cd changer port in the boot (which I can't find) or to the back of the actual stereo. Or both?
I have an aux connection in my glove box, but being one way, I cannot use the controls on my steering wheel or stereo.

Ok i just spoke to the guys at Dension today...

This product seems to be the best solution... However the phone connectivity for making and receiving calls DOES NOT use the steering wheel buttons, it uses the buttons on the stereo which is slightly disappointing.

My Denison gateway lite bt arrived today.

Fitted in approximately 45mins. Pretty straight forward.

Overall pretty pleased with the product, Bluetooth streaming is great! Hands free is clear.

I also got the song title text to show on the monitor.

The only drawback which I knew about before purchase as you can not use the buttons on the steering wheel for calls. Volume and up and down track work fine.

All in all a pretty decent solution for hansdsfree and Bluetooth at £130 for the OEM Head unit.

Just installed this on my MCSC 07 R52. It works flawlessly. Would definitely recommend it!
