Need to Replace Interior Mirror

I have a 2003 S-Hatchback. My auto dimming mirror has gone "bad" and needs to be replaced. Dealer wants $366. I would be satisfied with replacing the mirror with a "old fashioned mirror", one you dim manually. (A) Can this be done? (B) Is there a link explaining how to do it? © Are there wire connections in the old mirror I need to worry about?
