| Advice on replacing the stock speakers Hi, I'm new at ICE installs but would like to change my stock 5w speakers on my Cooper S. I'd like to know the following please: 1) what size of speakers do I need without having to cut the door inlay 2) What type of speakers would you recommend (I want a clean sound without masses of bass but still a good bass response when called for) 3) Tips/instructions on how to take the door/panels apart to get to the speakers Any advice would be much appreciated. I have a Sony MDX-M690 Mini Disc player (Max. Output Power (1kHz, 4 ohm) 4x52 W). Thanks. |
