One for the electrical aces - is resistance futile?
Hi, a random question but I've got a Blaupunkt DAB52 in the Cooper s with the factory nav unit. It has a nav/phone input and I've hooked up the factory voice to it but it is over distorted. Is it ok to just keep trying different resistors to bring down the power from the nav voice to make it work or will I get a heat issue with the resistor? Also, what spec resistor? Currently I have the nav voice wired to an old domestic speaker on the knee level front parcel shelf so would like a more elegant solution!
Thanks in advance.
