Scotland Armrest.......

Hello everyone,
I have just installed a central armrest which "minispares" provides, which is looking good by the way, but does anyone who has fitted one really find it useful???. I am not knocking it, guess i am not use to it yet..

pure silver ONE, salt pack, 7-hole alloys, sports seats, trip computer, leather wheel, fully chromed, body coloured mirrors and now an armrest......

Ian,
I'm thinking of getting one as I like to rest my left arm when driving. Is it the one with the sliding cover, which gives a storage cubby for the back seats?
Is it difficult to fit?
Regards
ANT
Oh. and PS, does the colour match the interior?

Ian here again,
To "ANT" yes it is the one with slide and cubby space, no it isn't hard to fit just three screws through the rear cupholder, colour match well the leather bit is close to the colour of the dash the base on mine is black but you can get a silver base, and price was £78 delivered in case you ask anymore help just ask.....

I don't really use it for storage as the noise of the bits sliding around gets annoying! It's good for leaning your arm on though

the MINI has gone...

I prefer the smaller armrest... the one with no storage.

Hi, Nice arm rest. Looks simple to fit but before I buy one what does it look like from behind. I mean will someone sat in the back think I've just stuck something from Halfords between my seats?? ;0)

Thanks

Heya Red7,
Welcome to mini2.com
The armrest is made from superb materials.
The colour of the leather matches the black on the dash and the doors. Also the seats match well, although the piccie shows different but this is due to the flash.

What does it do to the rear cup holder?
This is the only useful one, I'd hate to compromise it...

I think the arm rest idea is cool but the way to install it annoys me. I don't like the way that flat metal part go straight into the circular rear cup holder. It's too contrasting. Why don't they make a big circular part that fits right into the cupholder and you can just remove it easily
