Cleaning Products for Leatherette Seats?

I have searched the forum and came up with nothing on this subject so I thought I would ask. What are you guys using to clean and maintain your leatherette seats? I've heard that using cleaners made for leather are actually bad for the leatherette. I've also looked at some vinyl cleaners, but decided not to risk damaging my seats. Any recommendations?

No, no, no! 303 is crap -- you need 304! Just kidding

I guess I'm going to have to get a bottle of it to try myself. I used to really like NuVinyl for all my interior trim since it dries and doesn't attract dust. I used my last bit on my rubber floor mats (REALLY liked using it on the mats since it made them nice and black, and wasn't slippery) and now I can't find it anywhere

For my dash and door panels I've been using (dare I say it?) Zaino Z-9 "Leather Soft" spray cleaner and Z-10 "Leather in a Bottle" treatment and conditioner. As much as I love Zaino, and as good as the Zaino leather products work on the leather seats, I've been a bit disappointed with it on the vinyl bits (I do think it would work good on the Leatherette seats though). I used Z-16 "Perfect Tire Gloss" on the rubber mats last time too, and it was still a bit too slippery after it dried. I miss my old buddy NuVinyl

Maybe next time I'm down at the beach, I'll stop by a boat shop and see if they carry 303. I need to get some synthetic grease for my grease gun anyway...

hhhmmm...this 303 seems to be popping up in quite a few threads? :-)

Will it CLEAN too (instead of just protecting)...I already have a couple of stains on the seats :-(

Thank you!

Terry Bucknell of AutoGlym Canada recommended the Leather care cream. Here is the e-mail he sent me earlier today:
----------------------------------------------------------
"Leather care cream is good on leatherette as well. In fact it is somewhat better than most vinyl care products on the market."

regards
Terry.

So I am going to give it a go.

i second the 303 suggestion, when you put it on the surface does not seem artifically shiny. it also doesn't feel slick.
