Head Unit pinout / amp remote question

I know this has been addressed before, but I've yet to find a definitive answer.
When looking for a switched remote lead for an amp (retaining oem head unit) I am unable to find one from the pinouts. I've read that others use the white "power antenna" lead, but I've found, with a test lamp, that although it is head unit activated when the ignition is off, it is also activated by the ignition. In other words, when the car is running it is no longer switched by the head unit - it is permanently hot. Any thoughts on a good remote wire?

Figure it out?

Please let me know what you find out on this. I am facing the same dilemma.

Thanks,

You could have a closer look at pin 16 and tell us what's that like

DIY The final verdict

I just completed my amp install and I can now officially declare that it is indeed the white wire (#13 antenna).

PS, the Cooper is the most indirect install I have ever performed. I admit that the car is tight, but jeez. You have to take off every thing but the piece you are looking to replace before you can get where you really need to be. It's a round-a-bout hell. And I will have to do it all over again when I replace and install an amp for my mids. Yuck!

admit it... it leaves you feeling clever when it all goes back together and there's no bits left over
