I have just fitted one in my 'S' and it fits fine as long as you use the hole adapter for the MINI. This is required for all after market head units to make them a snug fit in the hole provided by MINI. You can get it from most car audio outlets or in the UK from Halfords. You will need an Amp though, as the head unit has no internal amplification, so I fitted a five channel Alpine + sub + 5.25 components in the front doors. It sounds great but you do need to set up the 7998 correctly to get the most out of it, and there are a lot of variables to consider on this unit. |
