Cd Changer Prep?

Hi,

First of all sorry if I am asking what many people ask, I have searched a few threads but not found the answer to my questions!!!

Do all Minis come with the CD changer prep as standard?

...or do I have to specify it?

...if so how much will it cost?

Has everybody got it?

Once again, many thanks!

I have a Liquid Yellow/Black Cooper with the Chilli Package, 17" S-spoke Alloys, Panoramic Sunroofs, ASC+T, the factory Tinted windows, 6-disk changer and the Multi Function Steering Wheel !!! ALSO HAVE FITTED A JCW EXHAUST !!!

No its not standard on every MINI.

You have to specify it.

Its free.

If they haven't they're fools.

hope that helps.

Crashandburn is right. What I don't understand is why they don't just fit it as standard. Any dealer worth going to will specify CD Prep by default without prompting.

There's no reason for anyone not to want it on their car. It's not like it's going to make the car much heavier and the wire's concealed anyway. It would simplify BMWs ordering system to just include with every car a lead that costs them, what, £1 (?).
