| Just finished installing the newly received dead-pedal, so now I have the complete set in the car. I gotta say, these pedals are absolutely stunning. The quality and fit is perfect, and they really set off the interior; they're highly noticeable as soon as you open the door. As for price, better than what I've seen of any other aftermarket sets available, and any I've seen so far don't offer a dead-pedal. I also think these are the most stylish of any I've seen.
As for the install, like ULTMTE3 says, relatively simple. I pulled out the accelerator assembly, lined up the new pedal on it, and drilled two holes straight thru the plastic; screws go thru the front, nuts on the rear. This could possibly be done without removing the accelerator assembly from the car, but its easy enough to pull out. Brake and clutch, simply remove the factory covers, position the new pedals on the backing plates, mark (I used a spring-loaded punch)the holes, drill thru, screws and nuts. For the dead-pedal, I did what ULTMTE3 suggested; I mounted two small aluminum plates on the underside of the plastic footrest where the dead-pedal insert would have to be screwed down. I fastened them to the plastic with pop-rivets. They were then drilled thru and tapped with the correct 8-32 thread to match the supplied screws. The plastic footrest was then bolted to the floor, the dead-pedal insert was popped into it, and the screws were installed to anchor it. I think ULTMTE has a photo of this on his site.
I was going to put the factory 2003 pedals on my 2002, but then these showed up, and I think they are much sharper. 2002 MCS, DS/B/BBS, Sport, Prem, Cloth, 17's
