I've got a nice ADS amp and subwoofer I'd like to add to my H/K system when my MCS arrives (10 days or so... can't wait! ) I've only had this amp hooked up to a pre-amp RCA connection before... Is there any way to wire this up the H/K headunit?

Surely there's some car-fi experts out there that have an insight here...
Is there any way to add an amp/subwoofer combo to the existing Harmann Karden system in the MINI?

I feel fairly sure you can splice into the lines leading back to the H/K preamp/amp. You may want to wait until you hear the unit it "H/K MINI" or "Electronic" mode. In those modes, the rear speakers are used as subwoofers. The system is more of an audiophile system than a ghetto blaster system.

Thanks for the post, 2nd Mini. I'll give the H/K a listen... I definitely prefer clarity over power in my stereo. I had a factory standard Bose system in my '91 Infiniti Q45 which was a great combo of clean sound and tight bass... hopefully the H/K can equal it. I hope so for $550 extra.
