New Mini 'Sound Modul' HiFi option offers alot more power...

I've just seen the new Mini Accessories booklet and there appears to be a new sound system option called the 'Sound Modul'.

It uses 'Premium Components' - these include:

4*70 watt amp

16cm speakers in the rear - used only for "low frequencies".

Larger capacity front speakers

This is said to offer "superb bass......and improved balance in frequency response for the entire (radio wave and boost) system."

The effective peak SPL (sound pressure level) is quoted to be 121dB !!

Now thats more like it !

I just hope the quality is as impressive as the dB's.

Not sure where this leaves the HK system though.

First person out there to hear this little lot in action please let us all know !!

It's been in the calatog a while... I don't know if anyone has actually had it fitted. My dealer didn't have price or availability yet.
Try searching on here for modul and module, I think it's been referred to as both (or does the search on modul get the full spelling too..?)
