| I'm looking to get a Cooper and have decided not to go for the factory fit Nav system as (a) I love the central speedo and (b) I don't reckon you'd get much consideration on resell for the Nav. So I'm looking into aftermarket solutions, and like the look of the various head unit replacement options from Kenwood, Clarion and Alpine (and I'm sure others), that have the motorised spin out wide screen TFTs for nav, DVD, and TV, etc. Question though, has anybody fitted a solution like this in a new Mini and how do you find it? Does the screen get in the way of the speedo or can you angle it to avoid this. Can anybody recommend one system over another? Your thoughts / comments most welcome! cheers... holty. |
