Interior Lighting: Need Help

In the search for a good amp, i came across various lightbulbs and decided that i want to spice up my interior lighting. My friend drives an escalade w/ red lights in all his air vents, in the doors and in other various places and it looks badass...so i wanna do something like that.
What my plans are so far are to replace all the interior bulbs (total of 7?: 2xunder footarea in front, 1xglovebox, 3xdome, and 1xtrunk...if anymore let me know) and what i need help with is: what size bulb fits which place ? Also, any suggestions on what color/type of light goes where are welcome. All help is greatly appreciated. THanks

FYI: I have a eb/b MCS w/ lapis blue interior and h/k sound if that matters...
