UK Spec: Leather vs Half Leather

Hi people,

I am ordering a new MCS and cannot decide between Full Leather and Half Leather. I currently have Half Leather in my MCS which is fine. Has showed a few signs of age over 6 months but will full leather sag? Is it suitable for a sporrrrty number like the MCS?? Have heated seats aswell...does that matter??

Let me know as I have ordered Full leather but may change it!

Full leather IMO looks far better then half leather. Well that's because I've got it
Only problem is the "sagging" leather. This only has happened to a certain number of people. Me for instance and I've changed my seat cushion five times now, but the latest one seems to be fine now
Leather does need constant care and does look shiney quickly. Autoglym leather cleaner brings it back to new quickly though
Having leather doesn't hinder seat support at all IMO. One must though is if you do have full leather you will need the heated seats. The leather gets very cold in the winter

In my opinion full leather is the only way to go. Though I personally do like the feel of leather, to me it is a wear and resale value issue. shabby looking seats after 10 years of use make the resale value go down quite subsantially. If you spend the extra on half leather you will still have shabby looking cloth portions.

have never quite understood the half-leather option maybe someone accross the pond can help me understand the marketing.

I like the look of the full leather in the S. Not too keen on the profile leather in the Cooper though. Felt like I'd be sliding all over the place if I took corners too enthusiastically.

simple leather - looks and feels great - best thing i like is if you drop food (kids) or drink, whiping off with clean cloth will leave no stain.
