Gadget - That's cool. And very cool to see the inside of a righthand drive MINI. It still feels weird to me driving on the 'wrong' side of the road (here in the US), and it will probably never really feel natural, but I'm getting used to it - more so now that I have my MINI!! Are they as super-popular in the UK as in the US?

Just take a closer look at this forum. Should give you a general idea of how popular and well loved this car is all over the world........

I don't think a day goes by when I don't pass another Mini on the roads around Donny.

And I try and wave everytime!

How about replacing the horn with a custom sound?
(Thumbs up from me.)
Or, the under the car neons (too crazy for my taste but I offer them up as a really gadgety gadget.)
Tinted windows?
I await your next innovation.......

My latest gadget is a Trafficmaster Monitor which I love - tells you where all the hold ups are on a 5.7" touch screen

Does about £350 for a full tinting kit (includes fitting) sound about right to you guys??

I can see I will have to learn the pound to dollar conversion rate. Tinting runs about $240 in the States. (Could someone fill me in on the conversion rate? : )

Gadgets - What's the iPaq Satnav like ?

I've got a similar iPaq model - is it worth investing in the Satnav (which one do you have - NavStar ?)

Wasn't there an option some time ago to use the iPaq as a trip computer or something like that (apologies is this has been posted in the past - I'm still new in here).

DNV122

I have a GPS receiver which I connect to the Ipaq via a cable, which also powers the Ipaq see (http://www.routeplanners.co.uk/produ...roducts_id/125)
and TomTom Navigator Software installed. Works really well, though it can send you on some strange routes much like Autoroute on the PC does. To attach it to the windscreen I have an Arkon mount.

On the whole it works really well, if you want some more info let me know
