JVC CD Package - Opinions Please

OK - all you ICE experts out there - whats you opoinion of this package for my MINI Cooper to replace my current WAVE and 6 Disc Changer.

CHPK8415R ie

JVC KDSX841R Head unit with CHX1500 12 disc changer.

All for £199 delivered.

What's the opinion on JVC generally and this package in particular. I'm slowly building my MP3 collection and this sounds a cracking bit of kit for the money.

If combined with a new set of 6x9's would this put out better sound than the WAVE setup at present?

One of my mates upgraded from Wave to Boost (I've ordered a new H-U but am waiting fro it to arrive). The change was surprising. You probably won't need to change the 6x9's. Though the default speakers look terrible, they sound fine when connected to a decent H-U.

Oh as per your selection of stereo - I used to have a JVC and had no problems with it. Personally I wouldn't like a silver H-U in a mini, but that just my taste.
