size of standard speakers??

lookin at upgradin me speakers front and rear. does n e 1 know the exact sizes of the speakers so i can go but them without investigating first??from these pics on http://www.minicooperonline.com/modu...&topic=8823&26 i can only guess the fronts r 5 1/4" and the rear 6*9 ???? i dont know if there different in other models?? i have the mini one.

also does n e 1 know how to stop an anoying creeking noise comin from the cover (silver) around the front vent (drivers side near door, spiny one)??

MikeyTheMini can help you with adaptors if you want to fit (better sounding) 6.5" in the front.

Don't recognize the specific noise description you have; I thought I had noise from that area and it turned out to be the door panels (try the car without them when you do your speakers).

neon wire from halfords/ripspeed £30 - only blue tho. then i clipped the centre in between the dash with the clips provide and then tucked the rest in. its a 3 metre lenght and if you start from the passenger side and work around its just long enough
