Try searching for satellite radio, and Sirius. There's discussions on the install. I'm not sure if anyone's done it yet with H/K though. I know in the announcement that MINI would offer Sirius someone with H/K was planning on going at it themselves because of antenna issues.

Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball.

I have Sirius in my Cooper and I love it. It was installed by the people at my local Circuit City. I took along some photos I found somewhere in the mini2 forums which showed how to gain access to the radio, for those who were changing receivers.

I cannot imagine who told you that XM was better than Sirius. It may be good, but cannot be better. Sirius has no commercials on any of the music streams and has what I thought was a better selection of news/sports/talk/entertainment. Sirius costs more, but they reduce the price progressively for long term contracts.

See http://www.sirius.com

I can hardly wait for there new unit, out this month, which can be use in the car or home.

No, I am not affiliated with Sirius, just a truly pleased customer.

I read in my HK that it is XM ready. Can anyone tell me what that really means? Will XM take advantage of the display or does it just mean that you can connect XM to the auxillary connection?
